๐Ÿ“– Common Medication Dosages (Vet-Prescribed Ranges)

These are only for reference. Always follow YOUR VET's exact prescription.

  • Carprofen: 2.2 mg/kg once or twice daily (or 4.4 mg/kg once daily)
  • Metronidazole: 10โ€“25 mg/kg twice daily
  • Gabapentin: 5โ€“15 mg/kg every 8โ€“12 hours
  • Prednisone: 0.5โ€“2 mg/kg once or twice daily (tapering doses)
  • Benadryl: 1โ€“2 mg/kg every 8 hours (max ~50mg per dose)
  • Meloxicam: 0.1โ€“0.2 mg/kg once daily

Note: Some medications (like Apoquel) are weight-based tablets โ€” you may only give part of a tablet.
